Cat Lai Ward Department of Culture and Social Affairs: The Role of Technology in Teaching Sex Education and Abuse Prevention Skills for Children Aged 3–5

On the afternoon of January 22, 2025, the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research participated in a thematic seminar entitled “The Role of Technology in Teaching Sex Education and Abuse Prevention Skills for Children Aged 3–5” organized by the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of Cat Lai Ward at Luong Dinh Cua Secondary School. The seminar was chaired by Ms. Kieu My Chi, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of Cat Lai Ward. Participants included school principals, heads of early childhood education levels (nursery, junior kindergarten, senior kindergarten), owners of childcare groups and kindergarten classes, as well as representatives of public and non-public early childhood education institutions in Cat Lai Ward.

The seminar content was directly delivered by Ms. Tran Thi Que Chi, Vice Dean of the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research, focusing on the scientific foundations and orientations for applying educational technology in early sex education. The presentation emphasized enhancing the effectiveness of equipping preschool children with safety and self-protection skills, while strengthening coordination among schools, families, and the community in child protection efforts.
